Thank you, Rabbi Schwartzman! Your example is light for living proudly and mindfully, with integrity and empathy in Jewish life. Chag Pesach Sameach.

I wish I had read this before we sat down. We did touch on this tonight but your framing is useful and helpful. Thank you.

Dear Hannah - thank you for reading the piece. We asked the questions at my Seder last night, but we only got through question 1. Then the rain (we were outside) and the night got away from us. Honestly , I think the truth is the questions are hard. A few brave souls ventured comments, but mostly, everyone was wrestling through their own internal struggle. Of course, from my perspective, that’s the point.

Questions asked or not, I hope your Pesach was meaningful and fueled by love.

Deeply insightful, deeply Jewish. This is Passover at its best - challenging us to ask hard questions that lead us to clearer understandings of ourselves and the world; and pushing us to act on the answers. Thank you Tony Johnson.
